I love this layered salad because it is so easy but looks great to serve to guests or enjoy on your own! It can be made any size with a variety of toppings.

Ingredients

Salad Base

 Romaine lettuce - Chopped and spread in the bottom of a platter

Salad Layers

 Crumbled cheese - feta or blue
 Shredded cheese - any kind
 Tomatoes - any type or color
 Onions - red, green or yellow
 Peppers - any color
 Beans - kidney, garbanzo
 Cucumbers
 Avocados
 Black olives
 Artichoke hearts
 Nuts or seeds
 Dried cranberries, raisins or cherries
 Chinese noodles, crumbled
 Tortilla chips, crumbled
 Croutons

Choose 6 of the toppings to place in rows on top of the Romaine lettuce. Serve with salad dressing that complements the theme of your toppings, Italian, Greek, Southwest, Asian.....the possibilities are endless! Enjoy! - Steph Busch
