Steph Busch’s Layered Salad Recipe

I love this layered salad because it is so easy but looks great to serve to guests or enjoy on your own! It can be made any size with a variety of toppings.

Layered Salad

Ingredients:

  • Salad Base – Romaine lettuce – Chopped and spread in the bottom of a platter
  • Salad Layers – Choose 6 of the following to place in rows on top of the Romaine lettuce
    • Crumbled cheese- feta or blue
    • Shredded cheese-any kind
    • Tomatoes-any type or color
    • Onions- red, green or yellow
    • Peppers-any color
    • Beans- kidney, garbanzo
    • Cucumbers
    • Avocados
    • Black olives
    • Artichoke hearts
    • Nuts or seeds
    • Dried cranberries, raisins or cherries
    • Chinese noodles
    • Crumbled tortilla chips
    • Croutons

Serve with salad dressing that complements the theme of your toppings, Italian, Greek, Southwest, Asian…..the possibilities are endless! Enjoy! – Steph Busch
