The aromatic profile is rich and inviting, with layers of blackcurrant, ripe raspberry, and plum. Fragrant hints of dried herbs, such as thyme and sage, mingle with nuances of cedar and tobacco, adding complexity to the bouquet. Delicate floral notes of violet dance gracefully in the background. On the palate, this Cabernet Franc displays excellent structure and balance. Ripe black fruits dominate, with flavors of blackberry and dark cherry leading the way. Velvety tannins provide a firm yet supple framework, contributing to a luxurious mouthfeel. Subtle oak influences lend notes of vanilla and baking spices, integrating seamlessly with the fruit character. There's a touch of earthiness that adds depth and dimension, while a refreshing acidity brings brightness and energy to the wine.

The nose opens with vibrant aromas of ripe pear, crisp green apple, and honeydew melon, intertwined with subtle notes of vanilla, toasted brioche, and a hint of lemon zest, reflecting its time in French oak.

If you are looking for a red with oodles of juicy ripe fruit, look no further! The 2018 El Dorado Zinfandel is a ripe and extravagant expression of the varietal. The palate is just gushing with flavors of wild berries, strawberry preserves, vanilla, and candied cigar box. Despite the generosity of the fruit, the wine retains a sense of balance with a core of mouthwatering acidity and completely integrated tannins. Seamless and delicious!

Our 2016 Merlot might just be our greatest vintage yet. Powerful and decadent aromas of ripe plum, boysenberry, cedar, and loamy earth simmer from the glass. The palate is exceedingly plump and silky, overflowing with flavors of ripe cherry, plum, milk chocolate, dried herb, graphite, crème de cassis and vanilla. Everything glides across the palate with almost no perceivable tannins and is balanced by refreshing acidity. This is an irresistible Merlot that is sure to delight fans of our Trinitas style.

Aromas of spiced plum, ripe strawberry and raspberry are framed by sarsaparilla and Chinese five spice to form an inviting bouquet. The palate follows with well-defined notes of black and red currant, plum, loamy earth, and wild herbs that trail off into an ever so long finish of vanilla and clove. Everything is lifted by refreshing acidity, as this wine reveals the hallmarks of its Southern Napa terroir. It has beautiful freshness, yet retains the gorgeous fruit that Napa is known for. A great year for Meritage, and a wine that enthusiasts of both Napa and Bordeaux are going to love. 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Malbec, 20% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot.
