2009 Mysterium, Mendocino, 1.5L

The nose begins with light notes of cedar, tobacco, and pencil shavings, finishing with a vanilla finale. Flavors of cardamom launch onto your palate enhancing the full and rich mouth feel. The svelte tannins create a smooth yet elongated finish.

2009 Zinfandel Old Vine, Mendocino, 1.5L

Aromatics of braised short rib lightly dusted with white pepper and bay leaf, in a coffee and chocolate reduction sauce jump out of the glass. The mouth is extremely rich and full with a soft roundness. Flavors of fig and cocoa powder compliment the fine dusty tannins that linger on your tongue.

2013 Meritage, Napa Valley, 1.5L

The 2013 Meritage offers up aromas of molasses, cherry, cinnamon sticks, sweet cranberries, and beautiful ripe blackberries. The structure of the wine is perfectly balanced, lots of fine, dusty tannins building the structure with beautiful ripe and concentrated fruit notes. Blueberries, chocolate covered Bing cherries and blackberries dominate the palate. Digging deeper there are hints of baking spices, oak, and cassis, which lead into the long silky finish on this Meritage.

2013 Pelkan Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon, Family Collection, Knights Valley 3L

The nose is velvety with rich notes of cinnamon, anise, molasses, and blackberry jam. There are also hints of clove and just a pinch of black pepper. The palate is equally as silky and opens with delicate notes of cherry and ripe raspberry. The wine grows on the palate showing its breadth and beautiful core which leads into a rich blackberry compote finish, complemented but the soft, fine tannin structure.

2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 1.5L

Rich red cherries are abundant on the nose accompanied by notes of plum, blackberry compote, muddled blueberries, cocoa, and a hint of baking spices. The Cabernet is incredibly rich in flavor but surprisingly elegant and velvety in structure. Chocolate covered black cherries and beautiful blackberries are present throughout the core.

2014 Meritage Estate, Family Collection, Napa Valley, 1.5L

Our Estate Meritage fruit comes from our 7 acre, rolling hillside vineyard in Napa Valley. The wine displays black currant, berries, and earthy cedar. Our Estate Meritage is full, rich and will leave you lingering for more. Barrel aged for 21 months in 75% new French oak.

2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Pelkan Vineyard, Family Collection, Knights Valley, 1.5L

Located near the border of Napa and Sonoma Counties, this Cabernet Sauvignon fruit comes from the Pelkan Ranch Vineyard, also home to our Cabernet Franc. These eastern facing vines sit on a sloped elevation of 2,200 feet, which provides excellent drainage, warm temperatures, and levels of sunshine that achieve the full-bodied, ripe chocolate flavors that Knights Valley is known for.

2014 Pelkan Ranch, Cabernet Francis, Family Collection, Knights Valley 1.5L

The 2014 CABERNET FRANCis begins with aromas of cassis, star of anise, and ground nutmeg, then moves into notes of mocha, ground cacao powder, and beautiful ripe cherries. The palate starts with rich flavors of cherries jubilee, malted chocolate and barrel notes of crème brûlée and barrel spices.

2013 Merlot, Rutherford, 3L

The 2013 Merlot’s nose starts with beautiful blueberry and sweet cedar notes. Hints of vanilla, cigar box, and chocolate round out the aroma. The mouthfeel of the Merlot is smooth from start to finish. This wine exhibits the classic Rutherford dust composition and texture. Flavors of cherry liqueur, vanilla, and dark chocolate dominate the palate.

2013 Father Mathew Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon, Family Collection, Yountville 3L

The beautiful French oak notes of cola berry, toast, and barrel spice kick off the nose on the Father Mathew Cabernet Sauvignon. The classic ripe red cherry that we always look forward to on this wine sweetens the core of the nose with a hint of blueberry on the backend.

2013 Martin Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon, Family Collection, Coombsville 3L

The 2013 Martin Cabernet Sauvignon opens with enveloping aromatics of red currant, cedar, graphite, tobacco, cherry, and plum. Despite its seven years of age, the palate if brimming with energy. Flavors of ripe red currant, gravel, cherry, cocoa powder and dried tea leaf build to a loud crescendo, followed by a persistent finish framed by lively acidity and dusty tannins. Patience certainly is a virtue, and this wine is one of its rewards.

2009 Meritage, Napa Valley, 6L

Our 2009 Meritage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec. Lush tannins and intense fruit flavors of black currant, blackberries, plums, and cocoa combine on the palate for an excellent structure. Notes of coffee and boysenberry jam add to the complexity of this wine.
